Neighborhood parking
Street parking in Wrigleyville fills fast. Compare nearby garages and lots, see prices for your dates, and book ahead with a trusted provider.
Check parking availabilityWrigleyville is one of the toughest places in Chicago to park on a game day. The ballpark sits in the middle of a dense residential grid, and most streets within a several-block radius are permit-only for non-residents — park there without a zone sticker and you are likely ticketed, and possibly towed. The blocks immediately south and west of the stadium are the most aggressively enforced.
Your realistic options are the paid lots and garages along Clark Street, Addison, Broadway, and Sheffield, or parking a half-mile out toward Lakeview or Uptown and walking 10–15 minutes. The walk is part of the Wrigley experience for regulars — and the farther you are willing to walk, the less you pay.
On game days, expect to pay roughly $30–$60 within a few blocks of the marquee, dropping to $20–$30 around the half-mile ring. Demand is highest for Friday and Saturday night games, holiday weekends, and any marquee opponent — prices climb and the close-in options sell out first. Arriving 60–90 minutes before first pitch gives you the best balance of price and availability.
On non-game days, the same garages are far cheaper — often $10–$15 for an evening — because Wrigleyville is also a popular dining and nightlife strip along Clark Street. If you are coming for the bars rather than baseball, check whether a game is scheduled first; it changes both price and availability dramatically.
For most games, the CTA Red Line is the single best way in: the Addison stop is one block from the ballpark, trains run frequently, and you skip both the parking hunt and the post-game traffic jam. The 22 Clark and 152 Addison buses serve the area as well.
Rideshare is convenient but has a catch — designated drop-off and pick-up zones move several blocks away on game days, so you will walk anyway and pay surge pricing on top. If you do drive, pre-booking a guaranteed spot removes the biggest game-day stress: circling for forty minutes while first pitch approaches.
